Here, experience an exhilarating two-hour float trip down the Jia-Bhoreli River. This journey offers excellent bird-watching opportunities, with potential sightings of the majestic Great Hornbills and even wild elephants. Following lunch, enjoy a serene village walk before returning to the ship. Continue your upstream journey, passing beneath a seemingly endless bridge, to moor at Silghat.
+ Day 6: Kaziranga National Park - Wildlife Safaris
Prepare for an unforgettable day at Kaziranga National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Your morning begins with a thrilling jeep safari in Kaziranga's Central Range. Enjoy lunch at the esteemed Diphlu River Lodge before embarking on another jeep safari in the less-visited Burapahar Range.
Spanning approximately 430 sq km, Kaziranga is home to the world's largest population of the Indian One-Horned Rhinoceros and the Indian Wild Water Buffalo. It boasts the highest density of Royal Bengal Tigers (one every five sq km), making it an incredible biodiversity hotspot. Its marshy swamps and dense elephant grass support large populations of Indian elephants, Indian bison, swamp deer, and Capped Langurs.
