+ Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu – Welcome to Nepal

Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport (KTM) in Kathmandu, after clearing immigration, collecting your luggage, and passing through customs, look for our representative just outside the terminal exit. They'll be holding a placard with your name, ready to offer a warm Nepali welcome. You'll then be comfortably transferred to your hotel. The rest of your day is free for you to relax and acclimate, or explore the immediate surroundings at your leisure

+ Day 2: Kathmandu Valley UNESCO Wonders – Swayambhunath & Patan

Start your day with a delicious breakfast at your hotel before embarking on a fascinating sightseeing tour of Kathmandu City, Swayambhunath, and Patan. Kathmandu City: Dive into the historical heart of the capital. You'll visit Durbar Square, a mesmerizing array of temples and the ancient Hanuman Dhoka Palace, once home to Nepalese royalty. Witness the unique tradition of the Living Goddess Kumari, acknowledging devotees from her temple balcony. You'll also see Kasthamandap, a legendary wooden structure that gave Kathmandu its name. Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple): Ascend to this iconic approximately 2000-year-old stupa, one of Nepal's most significant religious and cultural sites. Its serene ambiance and panoramic views of the Kathmandu Valley are truly captivating. Learn about its association with the birth of the valley's civilization. Patan (Yala): Journey to Patan, or Yala, one of the three main cities in the Kathmandu Valley and a UNESCO World Heritage Monument Zone. Believed to be the valley's first settlement, established by the Kirat dynasty, Patan Durbar Square showcases exquisite ancient architecture and craftsmanship.

+ Day 3: Spiritual & Cultural Gems – Pashupatinath, Boudhanath & Bhaktapur

After breakfast, continue your exploration of Kathmandu's spiritual and historical treasures with visits to Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, and Bhaktapur. Pashupatinath Temple: Located on the sacred Bagmati River, this is one of the most important Hindu pilgrimage sites worldwide and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. As Nepal's main protector deity, Pashupatinath (Lord of all Animals) offers a profound glimpse into Hindu rituals and traditions (note: non-Hindus cannot enter the main temple but can observe ceremonies from across the river). Boudhanath Stupa: Prepare to be awestruck by Boudhanath, claimed to be the largest Buddhist stupa in the world. This magnificent stupa, surrounded by over 50 monasteries, is a vibrant hub of Tibetan Buddhist culture and also a UNESCO World Heritage Monument Zone. Bhaktapur: Step back in time as you enter Bhaktapur, a medieval city and another UNESCO World Heritage Site. Known as a "living museum," Bhaktapur is famous for its preserved ancient traditions and exquisite Nepali craftsmanship in wood and stone. Marvel at the Palace of 55 Windows, the five-storied Nyatapola Temple, and observe local potters using age-old techniques in Potters Square.
